Dr. Satoko Rubin

Dr. Rubin is an accomplished periodontist and prosthodontist with extensive education and professional experience. She earned her DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine before completing a three-year Prosthodontics Residency at Boston University followed by a three-year Periodontics Residency at the University of Connecticut. This gives her the distinction of being one of the only dual specialists in the nation. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Rubin is also an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the UConn Health Center and has won numerous awards for her teaching, mentorship, and clinical research contributions. She is highly respected within her field and has held leadership roles in several professional organizations throughout her career. Dr. Rubin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a member of both the American College of Prosthodontics and American Academy of Periodontology, a board member of the International Society of Periodontal Plastic Surgery and was a past President of the Connecticut Society of Periodontists and she was honored with an international award for her clinical research contributions. She was also selected to be a member of AAP's prestigious LEAD program for 2021, which provides leadership development opportunities for individuals looking to advance their careers in periodontics and implantology.
