Dr. Gopalakrishnan Dharmarajan

Dr. Gopalakrishnan Dharmarajan, an eminent periodontist, completed his BDS and MDS in Periodontology at Annamalai University, India. He earned his PhD at Thammasat University, Thailand, mentored by Dr. P.D. Miller, specializing in Periodontal Plastic Surgery. He is currently serving as Dean and Professor in Periodontology at Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, India. He is: Immediate Past President of the Indian Society of Periodontology.

Fellow & Board Member of ISPPS

  • Fellow of the Indian Society for Dental Research(India Division of the IADR, USA)
  • Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, USA.

With extensive international affiliations, he's been recognized with numerous awards for his contributions to dentistry, including commendation from the President of the American Academy of Periodontology in 2011.
